Educational Assistant at Bright Futures

Make a difference as a part-time Educational Assistant at Bright Futures Play Academy. Starting August 26, 2026, this position supports students for the entire 2026/2027 school year.

You will assist students with complex needs, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential in creating positive experiences for students. Patience and a calm approach are critical as you tackle daily challenges in an inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning at the academy

• Work with those experiencing behavioral needs

• Use strong communication to engage students

• Promote a positive learning atmosphere

• Collaborate with other staff to ensure effective support

Requirements:

• Background in working with students with severe needs

• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

• Calm and patient with problem-solving abilities

• Team-oriented mindset for collaborative work

• Experience or training in educational assistance
