Part-Time Math and Science Teacher

Join Oxford Learning Mississauga Clarkson as a part-time Math and Science Teacher-Tutor. Inspire students to excel in math and science through engaging lessons and personalized guidance.

This in-person role is perfect for individuals passionate about helping high school students succeed in mathematics and science. Work afternoons and evenings, with Saturdays as needed, to teach in a friendly environment. You'll leverage pre-planned lessons while using proprietary methodologies to boost students' confidence and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at different levels

• Follow Oxford Learning's teaching methodologies and philosophies

• Fill in post-lesson notes and updates for students

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor during sessions

• Communicate effectively with students and parents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

• Experience teaching/tutoring Grades 9-12 math and science

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to multitask and manage student groups

• Commitment to in-person teaching at designated location
