High School Science & Math Tutor Position

Join Oxford Learning Mississauga Clarkson as a part-time Science and Math Teacher/Tutor. Play an integral role in enhancing students' understanding and interest in these subjects.

The role is part-time, focusing on evening and some Saturday hours, requiring a commitment through the school year. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and comprehensive knowledge of Grades 9-12 math and science topics. Previous tutoring experience is considered an asset but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students at different learning levels

• Utilize Oxford Learning’s teaching methodologies

• Document lesson outcomes and student progress

• Communicate regularly with students and guardians

• Maintain a respectful and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or significant tutoring experience

• Background in high school math and science instruction

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication in English

• Availability for evening and Saturday work
