Position: Instructor for Cooking Programs City
Teach and inspire as a Cooking Instructor for the City of Mississauga during Fall 2026. This role focuses on delivering enriching cooking experiences while prioritizing safety.

The City of Mississauga seeks ten Cooking Instructors for its cooking camps. As an instructor, you will craft engaging lesson plans, oversee instructional activities, and assess participant progress. Effective communication and adherence to safety protocols are vital for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive cooking sessions as per city standards

• Prepare lesson plans and set up before classes

• Evaluate student engagement and address any issues

• Provide exemplary customer service and information

• Manage administrative operations related to classes

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old at session start

• Valid First Aid certification with CPR C & AED needed

• HIGH FIVE Certified in Healthy Child Development

• Food Handler certification must be current

• Previous teaching experience with children is advantageous
