Part-Time French Teaching

Position: Part-Time French Teaching Role
Join Sheridan College’s CAPS as a part-time instructor, teaching diverse French language programs designed for engaging and interactive learning. Utilize your expertise to foster fluency and confidence in students.

This teaching role allows you to deliver both online and in-person classes, utilizing established curricula to guide students through French language skills. Your dedication will help learners achieve proficiency, explore cultural aspects, and enhance their communication skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement existing curriculum and pedagogical best practices

• Set clear expectations and support diverse student needs

• Monitor and assess student progress with feedback

• Update and manage course materials in Learning Management Systems

• Attend faculty meetings and trainings

Requirements:

• Postsecondary education in French, Linguistics, or similar area

• Near-native proficiency in French with excellent communication

• Previous experience teaching French as a second language

• Strong knowledge of French grammar and pedagogy

• Proficient in using educational technology and collaboration tools
