This role requires a PhD in English or a related field and expertise in video game studies. You will demonstrate curricular knowledge, facilitate workshops, and assess student performance. Strong teaching skills and current subject matter knowledge are essential to fostering a rich learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging weekly practical workshops and tutorials
• Prepare course materials and handouts for students
• Grade practical and written student work effectively
• Assist students during office hours or via email
• Attend all scheduled in-person lectures and meetings
Requirements:
• PhD in English, Comparative Literature, or related field
• Expertise in video game studies and media studies
• Experience teaching at the university level
• Strong academic record and demonstrated teaching ability
• Awareness of current trends in play studies
