Math Tutoring Position Part-Time

Oxford Learning Erin Mills is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to inspire high school students in Mississauga! Utilize your math skills to assist students in overcoming their challenges.

This tutoring role involves working after school and evenings, facilitating a variety of math topics from algebra to calculus. Candidates should have a solid understanding of secondary school math and be able to engage effectively with students. Experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus, making this role ideal for college students or educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students in math concepts

• Implement Oxford Learning tutoring practices

• Fill in post-lesson notes for tracking progress

• Communicate clearly with students and guardians

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant background in education

• Experience in math instruction preferred

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Capability to manage sessions with multiple students
