Join Maker Kids this fall as a STEM Instructor and foster a passion for technology in kids aged 6-13. Teach coding, robotics, and game development in engaging classes.
In the role of STEM Instructor, you will lead innovative projects that captivate students while enhancing their skills in various technology platforms. Previous experience with children is imperative as you'll need to create an inclusive environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Classes will take place in multiple locations, requiring a flexible approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach captivating STEM classes and activities
• Lead project-based learning sessions with diverse tools
• Adjust lessons for different student skill levels
• Nurture a welcoming and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Update parents on their child's progress and engagement
Requirements:
• Student or graduate majoring in STEAM disciplines
• Proven experience working with youth
• Passion for making technology accessible and fun
• Excellent communicative and organizational abilities
• Willing to undergo a Criminal Background Check
