triOS Institute is advancing the establishment of a new private, degree-granting institution in Ontario, with plans to offer innovative bachelor’s and master’s degree programs designed to meet the evolving needs of students, employers, and industry. The Institute is currently working through Ontario’s Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board (PEQAB) process to obtain the required Ministerial Consent to offer degree programs.
This represents an important stage in the development of triOS Institute and reflects a commitment to academic excellence, strong and independent governance, innovation, student success, and career-focused educational outcomes.
As we move toward the next phase of institutional development, triOS Institute is seeking accomplished academic and postsecondary leaders for the role of
President
. This foundational leadership position will play a significant role in shaping the Institute’s academic vision and culture, strengthening its governance and quality assurance frameworks, advancing regulatory readiness, and leading the development and launch of its initial degree programs.
This is a unique opportunity to help build a new degree-granting institution from the ground up and establish the academic standards, organizational capabilities, partnerships, and student experience that will support triOS Institute’s long‑term growth and success.

The Opportunity:
The President serves as the academic leader of triOS Institute and is accountable to the Board of Governors for overall leadership, strategic direction, academic quality, financial sustainability, and operational success of the institution.
What you'll be doing:
As the inaugural President of triOS Institute, this role is responsible for leading the successful establishment, growth, and long‑term success of the Institute, including its pursuit of degree‑granting status in Ontario.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the Institute's strategic vision and multi‑year institutional plan.
Lead the establishment and ongoing development of triOS Institute as it pursues and, upon approval, maintains status as a recognized and respected degree‑granting institution.
Advise and support the Board of Governors on institutional priorities, risks, opportunities, and long‑term planning.
Deliver a culture of innovation, academic excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure alignment between academic priorities, financial sustainability, and organizational growth.
Position triOS Institute as a leader in career‑focused graduate education both nationally and internationally.
Academic Leadership
Serve as the senior academic officer of the Institute.
Promote academic excellence and continuous quality improvement across all programs.
Ensure academic integrity, academic freedom, and institutional accountability.
Lead the development, implementation, and review of academic policies and standards.
Support Academic Council in exercising its responsibilities for curriculum, academic quality, admissions, progression, graduation, and program review.
Implement a culture of scholarly activity, innovation, applied research, and evidence‑based decision making.
Ensure programs remain responsive to labour market needs and emerging industry trends.
Innovation, Applied Research & Artificial Intelligence
Champion a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous improvement across all academic and institutional activities.
