Support student achievement with Waterloo Region District School Board as an Educational Assistant Level
D. A Physical Demands test is required when applicable.
WRDSB serves approximately 65,000 students across 123 schools and alternative and continuing education sites. This posting welcomes EA Association members and external applicants for a current vacancy. Candidates may qualify through teacher certification, educational support studies, social services credentials, or approved alternative education and experience pathways.
Key Responsibilities:- Support learning environments promoting student achievement and well-being
- Work with students in WRDSB schools and education sites
- Partner with staff, parents, families, caregivers, and communities
- Foster student success in learning and life
- Pass the required Physical Demands test when applicable
- Hold an accepted Educational Assistant or Educational Support qualification
- Qualify through listed social work or social services credentials
- Alternative pathways require one year of related work experience
- Significant relevant volunteer experience may be considered
