* As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
- Pay Rate: $ 27.00/hour

- Perform calibration services within assigned timelines, following established procedures and quality standards.
- Accurately enter calibration data into internal tracking systems and complete calibration data sheets with precision.
- Create calibration data sheets with minimal supervision when required, based on instrument specifications and approved procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit all required documentation to meet customer, reporting, ISO, and quality management system requirements.
- Provide limited customer support for repair-related inquiries and basic calibration needs.
- Apply company policies and actively develop job skills through on-the-job learning.
- Conduct basic calibrations for General Purpose and Physical Dimensional equipment.
- Participate in quality management system compliance, including process adherence and internal standards.
- Work primarily from the service center, with occasional supervised field service assignments.
- Engage in Fortive Business System (FBS) activities:
Daily Scheduling, Visual Management, Kaizen participation, and team problem-solving. - Support general laboratory operations and perform duties in an organized and efficient manner.
- CGP certification required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (eligible to drive a company vehicle).
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work permit.
- Experience calibrating General Purpose and Physical Dimensional equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Willingness to travel to local and regional customer sites; overnight travel may be required.
- Experience in equipment calibration in the following:
Torque, Pressure, RF - Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
