Furniture Repair Technician at Dufresne

Join Dufresne Group as a Furniture Repair Technician in Mississauga. This role involves in-home repairs and restoration of damaged furniture to like-new condition using proven techniques.

As part of the Mississauga Distribution Centre team, you will leverage two years of hands-on furniture repair experience to support guests with upholstery, wood refinishing, and leather repairs. This position allows you to work directly in customers' homes while following safe work practices. You will assist in product issue tracking and maintain service vehicles properly stocked with materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess furniture repair needs promptly

• Restore furniture using refinishing and re-upholstery techniques

• Document repairs and maintain inventory controls

• Provide friendly in-home repair services to guests

• Support Quality Control Coordinator with product tracking

Requirements:

• High School diploma and two years of experience

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract

• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office knowledge

• Physically capable of lifting 50-100 pounds

• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
