We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator for our client (an aluminum company) who specializes in the supply of curtain wall systems, commercial windows and doors.

Project Estimator needed immediately in Mississauga

$28 – $30/hr, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, Day Shift (8am start)

Responsibilities:

Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents

Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals

Ensure all estimates meet deadlines and company quality standards

Request & evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing

Identify project risks, missing information and value-engineering opportunities

Communicate effectively via email with customers to confirm all required items

Maintain up to date knowledge of projects, pricing and industry trends

Work collaboratively with all departments from front to back

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of Project Estimator/Managing experience in the aluminum commercial windows and doors industry

Must be proficient with Opera software and Quick Books (Required)

Excellent communication, customer service, time management and multi-tasking skills

Able to work respectively and collaboratively with various individuals
