Advance your career at GHD as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Waterloo & GTA region. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with impactful projects in electrical engineering.
You will be an integral part of the Design Services Group, responsible for designing and implementing MV and LV electrical systems. With a strong background of at least 10 years, you will manage multiple projects, ensuring all designs meet Canadian codes. Your leadership in mentoring junior staff and working with various engineering disciplines will be key to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop electrical design calculations and documentation
• Oversee proposal requests and report preparation
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct quality control of designs and documentation
• Participate actively in client meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering design
• Registered with the Professional Engineers of Ontario
• Familiarity with Canadian electrical and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid G-class driver’s license
