IAMGOLD is looking for a dynamic Dewatering Engineer for their Côté Gold Mine operations. In this role, you will develop and optimize dewatering infrastructures to enhance mining efficiency. Collaborating with diverse teams, your work will play a crucial part in ensuring geological stability and compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage open pit dewatering strategies and assessments
• Engineer and monitor dewatering infrastructure
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies
• Optimize pump performance and manage water inflows
• Collaborate on mine design and production objectives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
• Five years of experience in open-pit mining environments
• Knowledge of groundwater flow dynamics
• Competence in mine planning and geotechnical software
• Preferred:
Professional Engineering licensure
