Lead Surveyor

Position: Lead Surveyor at Green Infrastructure Partners
Drive geomatics excellence with Green Infrastructure Partners as a Lead Surveyor. Oversee field operations, mentor teams, and ensure precise survey results while maintaining strict safety protocols.

This pivotal role reports to the Engineering Manager and involves leading surveying operations while ensuring high-quality results. You will supervise crews, manage schedules, and act as a client liaison to guarantee satisfaction. Your advanced Civil 3D expertise will be crucial in directing and executing complex surveys as well as mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of field crews and task delegation

• Train and mentor junior surveyors and technicians for quality work

• Enforce safety and regulatory policies across all site operations

• Direct complex boundary, topographic, and monitoring surveys

• Manage calibration, maintenance, and tracking of surveying instruments

Requirements:

• Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field

• 5+ years in construction surveying, including 2 years lead experience

• Expert in Autodesk Civil 3D and survey software

• Strong understanding of high-precision control networks

• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean record
