Position: Laboratory Testing Technician Role
Join Intertek's Building & Construction team as a Laboratory Testing Technician in Mississauga, ON. This role emphasizes your expertise in product testing and compliance.

In this position, you will engage in the evaluation of construction materials, including insulation, windows, and more. Conducting various strength and field tests will be key, along with documenting results to ensure compliance. You will also assist in training team members to uphold quality in testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and log samples for testing accurately

• Execute material and structural quality tests

• Conduct field inspections on construction projects

• Maintain orderly documentation and work spaces

• Support training for junior laboratory staff

Requirements:

• Educational background in construction or engineering

• Experience in materials testing and inspection

• Familiarity with relevant test standards

• Strong communication and math skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in diverse environments
