Project Cost Controller

Lycopodium is seeking a Project Cost Controller in Mississauga, ON, focusing on effective cost management and engineering excellence. Oversee project costs and ensure compliance in a global context.

As a key member of the Project Controls team, report directly to the Project Controls Manager. This role requires timely management of project costs and accounting functions, maintaining data integrity while aligning with project expectations. Collaborate on budgeting, change management, and performance reporting for significant engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project costs and accounting functions accurately

• Maintain alignment with client and project requirements

• Oversee budget structures to match project scope

• Implement Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) effectively

• Assist with invoicing and progress payment processing

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 5 years in cost control within EPCM

• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP systems

• Knowledgeable in cost management software

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes
