Hatch seeks a Senior Mineral Processing Engineer in Mississauga, ON to enhance mineral processing operations. This role requires extensive design and commissioning expertise in various separation techniques such as flotation, leaching, and thickening. You will develop engineering solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with clients to align on project objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform process engineering tasks for diverse minerals processing projects
- Act as Lead Process Engineer when needed
- Engage with clients to understand project specifications
- Conduct capacity analysis and modeling of processing equipment
- Facilitate onsite commissioning of new systems
- Degree in Mineral Processing, Mining, or Chemical Engineering
- Extensive minerals processing experience in design and operations
- Robust client focus and leadership skills
- Ability to manage metallurgical test work programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
