Position: Ontario Environmental Technician Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role with WSP Canada as an Environmental Field Technician based in Ontario. This full-time position involves overseeing environmental remediation while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety procedures.

In this role, you will travel across Ontario for various projects, contributing your technical expertise to manage environmental fieldwork effectively. You’ll be responsible for supervising contractors, conducting soil and groundwater testing, and documenting safety plans. Your positive attitude and self-motivation will be crucial as you ensure safety on all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and follow health and safety plans on-site

• Identify, document, and report safety hazards

• Conduct groundwater and soil sampling tasks

• Oversee subcontractors and project execution

• Maintain organized field notes and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum three years experience supervising contractors

• Diploma in environmental sciences required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license necessary for travel

• Must be willing to work independently and in different conditions
