Join GHD’s growing Tunnel Group and play a vital role in engineering large diameter tunnels and transit lines. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration three days a week with site-based work across Ontario, Vancouver, and Australia. Lead design analyses using industry-standard software like PLAXIS, and provide impactful solutions while contributing to our commitment to sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with tunnelling project work across Canada
• Conduct analysis for tunnel liners and shaft designs
• Prepare detailed tunnel reports for proposals
• Support geoscientific studies and reservoir analysis
• Collaborate in project management and client meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years in tunnel engineering projects
• Expertise in large diameter tunnel design
• Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
• Proficient in geotechnical analysis software
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (G)
