Position: Geotechnical Design Engineering Role in Ontario
Join AECOM as a Senior Rock Mechanics/Geotechnical Engineer with a hybrid work model in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time role combines geotechnical design and geological expertise.

At AECOM, you will leverage your skills in geological engineering and rock mechanics to support critical infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least six years of experience in geotechnical design, including software proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and Roc Science.

Your role will involve preparation of precise designs and collaboration with civil and structural teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design geotechnical systems and rock slope supports

• Create geological models and conduct site analysis

• Prepare design reports and technical proposals

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for project execution

• Conduct soil and rock excavation analyses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field

• Minimum 6 years of experience in geotechnical design

• Proficient in Roc Science Suite and AutoCAD

• Strong technical writing skills

• Advanced degree or PhD preferred in geotechnical areas
