WSP is looking for a qualified Lead Piping Engineer with a solid background in mechanical engineering. You will oversee the piping design and ensure all deliverables support protected and effective operations. Engage with various teams to facilitate the integration of piping systems with overall project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design packages from concept through detailed engineering
- Develop reliable piping systems tailored for industrial applications
- Collaborate closely with various engineering disciplines
- Assess designs and documentation for adherence to codes
- Mentor junior team members and promote growth
- University degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in piping engineering in heavy industry
- P.Eng. designation or eligibility is advantageous
- Strong skills in mechanical design and modeling tools
- Ability to work in field environments while following safety protocols
