This co-op placement spans 12-16 months, with shorter durations available. You will assist in the execution and analysis of laboratory tests, preparing samples, and generating reports. Your contributions will be crucial for developing a safe working environment through updated SOPs, inspections, and collective focus on safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of lab test programs

• Analyze results and develop mass and energy balances

• Prepare samples for testing, involving some heavy lifting

• Revise and enhance standard operating procedures

• Participate in lab inspections and safety communication

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering co-op program

• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Effective time management and organization skills

• Solid problem-solving skills and safety orientation
