This is a permanent role requiring at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years of hands-on experience in design. You'll be involved in preparing detailed calculations, overseeing mechanical design projects, and possibly leading a small design team. Collaboration with different engineering disciplines will be essential, along with direct involvement in solving field problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough design calculations for mechanical systems

• Define project specifications and prepare technical documents

• Lead and coordinate with engineering multi-disciplinary teams

• Mentor junior designers and draftspersons when applicable

• Provide technical support during machinery installation phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required

• Minimum 10 years of relevant design experience

• Showcase a strong portfolio of prior work

• P.Eng registration is an asset, but not essential

• Proven ability to assist and guide teams technically
