Stormwater Infrastructure Engineer

Be a key player in municipal projects with the City of Mississauga as a Stormwater Infrastructure Engineer. Focus on stormwater planning, flood control, and collaborate with a committed team.

This role involves leading capital projects related to stormwater infrastructure design and planning. You will manage contracts, engage with stakeholders, and ensure project deadlines are met. Utilize your expertise to provide specialized input for the city’s Stormwater Business Plan while actively participating in various internal and external committees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead studies on stormwater infrastructure and flood control

• Manage contracts for related studies and design projects

• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project schedules

• Prepare project management plans and progress reports

• Contribute to the Stormwater Business Plan and Budget

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering

• Professional Engineer registration with Professional Engineers Ontario

• 2+ years in municipal stormwater engineering

• Experience with Municipal Class Environmental Assessments

• Strong communication and project management skills
