As a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer within Hatch’s energy division, you will take charge of civil/structural design for nuclear facilities, including both safety-related and non-safety-related structures. The role requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and engage in projects aimed at fostering a low-carbon world.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering design and analysis for nuclear facilities
• Prepare engineering work packages while adhering to budgets
• Define project requirements regarding scope and cost
• Perform seismic analysis of structures and safety systems
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical deliverables
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10 years of civil/structural engineering experience
• Knowledge of nuclear codes and design principles
• Familiarity with civil/structural analysis software
• Valid security clearance for Canada or ability to obtain
