WSP is actively seeking a Senior Tunneling Engineer in Mississauga with extensive experience in underground design. Play a pivotal role in shaping tunneling projects with innovative geotechnical approaches.
This role requires a seasoned professional with 10 to 15 years of experience focused on large-scale tunneling projects within a consulting environment. You will take charge of project delivery from the early concept phase through construction. Your ability to oversee geological investigations and mentor junior engineers will be critical in enhancing team effectiveness and technical prowess within WSP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and execution of tunneling and excavation projects

• Deliver innovative solutions to improve safety and performance

• Manage geological investigations and alignment studies

• Collaborate with teams across various technical disciplines

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout projects
Requirements:

• 10–15 years of tunneling and underground design experience

• Relevant degree in Geological, Mining, or Civil Engineering

• Proven experience with excavation support systems

• Proficiency in tools such as RS2/RS3 and Geo Studio

• Strong project management abilities and communication skills
