Automotive Tool Designer at DBG

Join DBG as an Automotive Tool Designer, where your skills in stamping die design and fixture development will play a vital role. This position involves working on innovative tooling solutions in a dynamic environment.

With a focus on high-quality metal stamping, DBG is seeking a tool designer with at least 8 years in mechanical design. You will create new tooling and modify existing designs while collaborating with the tool room and outside vendors. Your expertise in Solid Works and Fabrication techniques will drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new stamping dies and welding fixtures

• Modify existing tooling for continuous improvement

• Create BOMs and detailed production drawings

• Communicate part and drawing changes effectively

• Complete special design projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering

• 8 years of mechanical design experience

• Proficiency in Solid Works and AutoCAD

• 3+ years in stamping die and assembly fixture design

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
