Signaling System Engineer

Become a pivotal member of Hitachi Rail as a Signaling System Engineer located in Mississauga, Ontario. This hands-on position focuses on signaling system requirements, design, and integration.

Hitachi Rail seeks an enthusiastic Signaling System Engineer to enhance our team. In this role, you will oversee the identification and management of signaling system requirements throughout project life cycles. You will work closely with subsystems at all engineering levels and ensure compliance with CMMI, CENELEC, and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall signaling system requirements throughout project life

• Conduct thorough signaling design and gap analysis

• Define integration test procedures and execute tests

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and integrate systems

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of lead systems engineering experience

• Expertise in CBTC systems and designs

• Strong knowledge of engineering life cycles and integration

• Proficient with project management and tracking tools

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
