The Role:

Acoustical Consultant

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Acoustical Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our consulting and monitoring divisions, taking ownership of diverse projects from initial planning to final delivery. You will leverage your technical expertise to conduct measurements, analyze complex data, and provide actionable recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee project execution and invoicing in acoustics, vibration, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Measurements and Analysis: Conduct acoustic and vibration measurements, process and analyze data, model sound propagation, and draw conclusions.
  • Recommendations and Compliance: Advise clients on noise and vibration control while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Client Relations: Maintain regular follow-up, ensure client satisfaction, and contribute to business development.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare reports, proposals, and other deliverables; participate in meetings and coordinate with internal teams and clients.
  • Fieldwork and Operations: Perform site visits, participate in the installation and maintenance of equipment, and coordinate field activities.
  • Quality Management: Implement and ensure adherence to quality procedures in project execution.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Train clients, partners, or colleagues on equipment use or best practices in monitoring, when required.
  • Process Optimization: Recommend improvements to measurement, analysis, or project management methods.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts for the consulting and monitoring divisions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education & Experience: Physicist, Engineer, or equivalent background (electrical, mechanical, physics, civil, computer science, or biology) with at least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of instrumentation and acoustic measurements (sound levels, over pressure, vibrations, etc.).
  • Software Proficiency: Solid understanding of acoustic modeling and noise mapping software (CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon, INSUL, etc.). Excellent command of standard software such as MS Office, Excel, and general IT tools.
  • Professional Attributes: Proactive, open-minded, autonomous, rigorous, flexible, highly responsible, with strong communication skills—all the qualities that make a great Project Manager.
  • Mobility: Valid driver's license required.
  • Language: Strong proficiency in English.
