Metals Piping Designer at Hatch

In this role, you'll create and update crucial project deliverables such as isometric drawings, Process Flow Diagrams, and Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&). You'll need strong skills in independently laying out piping, selecting mechanical equipment, and developing 3D models in an integrated CAD environment. Leading a small team of designers will be key to ensuring high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and prepare project deliverables including PFDs

• Create piping layouts and isometric drawings

• Independently develop 3D piping models with supports

• Check all piping deliverables for accuracy

• Participate in and guide design reviews with other disciplines

Requirements:

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering Technology program

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial piping design

• Knowledge of Bentley Open Plant tools is advantageous

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
