ECG Engineering is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Vancouver to spearhead technical direction for diverse projects. Engage with multidisciplinary teams while impacting both greenfield and brownfield developments.
In this office-based role, you will manage instrumentation scope, providing strategic input for project design and delivery. Your expertise will influence the integration of control systems in mining and industrial environments. Collaborate with teams across Canada and internationally to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the instrumentation and controls scope for studies and delivery
• Review and coordinate engineering deliverables for quality assurance
• Develop and manage technical reports and documentation
• Provide expertise on PLC and SCADA system designs
• Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering
• Significant experience in complex industrial or mining projects
• Knowledge of leading automation systems and vendors
• Effective at leading technical discussions
• Ability to work independently on challenging projects
