In this senior role, you will guide instrumentation and control engineering efforts within WSP’s Resources subsector. Your responsibilities will include leading design efforts, facilitating collaboration among engineering disciplines, and supporting project execution phases effectively. You will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions that adhere to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical design of control systems for mining
• Guide project teams in compliance with engineering standards
• Foster collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineers
• Support all project phases from design to optimization
• Drive innovation through advanced automation technologies
Requirements:
• Over 18 years of relevant engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligibility in Canada
• Significant experience in mining or heavy industrial sectors
• Strong background in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems
