The role involves executing complex EMC engineering assignments including technical analyses, similarity assessments, simulations, and compliance evaluations. The engineer will support the resolution of EMC-related issues impacting certification, production, and operational aircraft while ensuring compliance with applicable aerospace regulations and industry standards.

The candidate will evaluate new and modified aircraft systems and structures to determine EMC impacts and define appropriate compliance strategies. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing engineering documentation such as EMC test procedures, test reports, analysis reports, and certification compliance documentation.

The selected candidate will support aircraft-level EMC qualification testing activities including planning, witnessing, coordinating, and reporting of EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and ESD tests. The role also includes participation in technical reviews, project planning, and risk assessment activities to support successful program execution.

Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, certification, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure EMC requirements are effectively integrated throughout the aircraft development lifecycle. The role may also include mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
