Hatch seeks a motivated Senior Overhead Contact System Engineer to contribute to the North American Infrastructure group in the Rail Systems team. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while preserving high-quality standards. This role is pivotal for designing and managing electrical systems critical for rail systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design OCS layout and wire tensions for rail systems
• Coordinate with engineers for system integration tasks
• Develop specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
• Review contractor submittals and manage inquiries
• Provide installation and testing support to clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering
• 10 to 15 years of OCS systems design experience
• Knowledge of electrical safety codes
• Professional engineer’s license is a plus
• Familiarity with North American transportation industry
