Design building mechanical systems with Revit and AutoCAD for CIMA+ in Bowmanville, Mississauga, or Kitchener through hybrid work.
As a Senior Building Mechanical Technologist, you will support mechanical design delivery across Ontario. Prepare BIM models, coordinate disciplines, and assist engineers with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, calculations, and specifications. Projects include secure facilities, offices, healthcare, and institutional environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare mechanical drawings and BIM models for building systems
- Develop Revit and AutoCAD design documentation
- Assist with layouts, equipment selection, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate designs across architectural, structural, electrical, and civil disciplines
- Review shop drawings and support construction administration activities
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Five or more years of building mechanical design experience
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery
- PSPC Reliability Clearance;
Secret Level II clearance is an asset
