Design building systems with CIMA+ as a Junior Mechanical Engineering professional or EIT in Mississauga or Bowmanville. Apply HVAC expertise and analytical skills.
This entry-level consulting engineering role supports CIMA+’s multidisciplinary Buildings team across Ontario projects. You will work under licensed Professional Engineers on offices, healthcare facilities, and secure government buildings. The position offers experience across planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design
- Prepare calculations, technical reports, and design documentation
- Develop drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate integrated designs with other engineering disciplines
- Participate in site visits, reviews, and commissioning
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Eligibility for EIT registration with Professional Engineers Ontario
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Canadian design standards and codes
- PSPC Reliability Clearance or ability to obtain it
Build consulting experience through mechanical systems design, Revit, AutoCAD, and multidisciplinary coordination with CIMA+’s Buildings team.
