As our Financial Analyst in our Nacora Insurance Brokerage Accounting Department, you will play a key role in delivering accurate internal and external reporting. You’ll work closely with management and our partners at Kuehne+Nagel, ensuring compliance and efficiency in financial processes. Nacora has been providing white glove risk consulting and commercial (marine and non-marine) insurance solutions, products and services to over 30 countries worldwide since 1972 and are one of the first global logistics providers to offer sustainable cargo insurance solutions.

This role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values continuous improvement.

How you create impact

Perform month-end financial close, reporting, and variance analysis

Process monthly commissions and reconcile Retail Sales Tax

Manage daily incoming payments and weekly bank reconciliations

Prepare cheque deposits and issue payments as required

Accounts Payable reconciliation, escalations and resolving discrepancies and ensure timely payment to Insurance companies

Monitor aged receivables and bank accounts, including interbank transfers

Prepare internal financial and control reports for management

Assist with quarterly forecasts, variances, and target preparation

Support global HQ inquiries and intercompany journal entries

What we would like you to bring

Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting or analysis

Insurance or brokerage experience is an asset

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field
