Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, to partner closely with the CFO to enable Science & Humans’ next-stage exponential growth. The Senior FP&A Analyst is a key partner to Finance leadership and functional heads, responsible for building financial insight, improving forecasting accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision‑making. This role blends strong financial modeling, operational understanding, and business partnering in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

Own and maintain the company’s budget, rolling forecast, and long-range plan

Analyze variances vs. budget/forecast and clearly explain drivers to leadership

Support scenario modeling for growth initiatives, hiring plans, and cost optimization

Management Reporting & Insights

Produce monthly management reporting packages for executives and the Board

Develop KPIs and dashboards covering revenue, margin, CAC/LTV, burn, and runway

Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights

Business Partnering

Act as a finance partner to functional leaders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations)

Support headcount planning, spend analysis, and ROI assessment

Provide financial guidance on new initiatives, pricing, and investments

Build and maintain robust financial models (3-statement, unit economics, cohort analysis)

Conduct ad-hoc analyses for strategic decisions, fundraising, and M&A support

Evaluate capital allocation and cash flow implications

Systems, Process & Controls

Help design and improve FP&A processes, templates, and planning calendars

Support FP&A system implementation and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau)

Ensure data integrity and alignment between accounting and FP&A outputs

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus,

7+ years of experience in  FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance  in a startup or high-growth environment.

Strong financial modeling skills with clear, concise storytelling capabilities.

Solid understanding of SaaS or recurring-revenue business models and 3+ years of SaaS working experience is required

Experience preparing materials for senior leadership or Board consumption

Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration

High ownership mindset and attention to detail
