Interim VP Finance

A well-established, growth-oriented manufacturing organization in Mississauga, ON is seeking an Interim VP Finance to provide steady leadership, elevate financial rigor, and guide the business through a period of operational transformation. This is a hands-on executive mandate ideal for a finance leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys building clarity, structure, and actionable insight across the organization.
In this role reporting to the CFO, you will partner closely with senior leadership to strengthen financial planning, bring discipline to forecasting and reporting, improve data quality, and support commercial and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in manufacturing-based businesses and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also influencing at the executive level.
Key Initiatives & Responsibilities   Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews, ensuring clear, decision-ready insights.
Strengthen costing, margin visibility, and operational finance processes across manufacturing operations.
Standardize reporting, KPIs, and financial models; streamline planning systems and data integrity.
Support commercial leaders with pricing, product economics, customer profitability, and scenario modeling.
Provide calm, steady leadership to the finance team and guide them through ongoing transformation initiatives.
Improve governance, controls, and financial risk management during a period of change.
