OverviewThe Pepsi Co Canada Planning team is a growth-oriented group focused on providing financial leadership and strategic partnerships, enabling effective decision making and sustainable growth.
Reporting to the Foods Planning Director – This role has the responsibility of leading the period close and forecasting processes and driving development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the business unit. This role requires strong financial acumen, analytical depth & ability to influence cross-functional partners. It also includes dotted-line responsibilities for Sr. Analyst in Mexico Capabilities Center (MCC).
Success in this role will require strong execution discipline, intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor and guiding cross functional finance partners through key business processes including period close, forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

ResponsibilitiesPeriod End & Forecast Process:
Lead Frito P&L performance management including variance analysis forecast, plan & year ago, and deliver insights to drive business results. Present Period Close & forecast results to the Canada Finance leadership, CFO & President of Foods Canada.Manage the period & full year P&L forecast consolidation in Mosaic & HFM, covering volume, trade, COS, Sellex, Supply chain, A&M, and G&A.Support preparation of Period Business Review (P ) decks for Executive Committee meetings and present performance insights & recommendations at the periodic Foods Sr. Leadership forumLead North America reporting processes, collaborating with US and Canada FP&A counterparts on global submissions such as Period Results commentary, NOPBT Cause of Change, Operating Margin & MD&A analysisServe as Subject Matter Expert for Mosaic, HFM & Cockpit Financial systems, supporting onboarding process with business partners, troubleshooting system problems, and validating reporting accuracyStrategic Deep Dive & Annual Operating Plan:
Lead Frito Topline & OpEx cost rollups for AOP, collaborating with business partners on targets, managing timelines, data rollup & providing insights for executive committee presentations. Lead bi-weekly cross functional topline & cost connects.Manage North America AOP reporting requirementsSupport development of the 5-Year Strategic Plan through required financial inputsOther Accountabilities:
Along with Quaker FP&A Manager, support various consolidated Pepsi Co Foods Canada reportingSupport Planning Director with ad hoc projects that provide insights to drive business resultsCollaborate with Quaker and Beverage FP&A peers on process standardizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred. MBA, CMA and/or CA/CPA is a good additionExperience working with SAP or a similar ERP toolStrong PowerPoint, Excel, financial modeling and system skillsStrong analytical, problem solving & collaboration skillAbility to find insights through analysis and provide recommendations to drive business resultsExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional finance teams and leadership teamsStrong multi-functional leadership experience & the ability to think and act decisivelyExperience implementing new systems and processesWhy work at Pepsi Co
