Position: Senior Financial Analyst at IMAX
Join IMAX as a Senior Financial Analyst in Mississauga, Ontario. Play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial consolidation and technical accounting for our global operations.

This position focuses on supporting IMAX Corporation’s financial reporting and analysis efforts. Engage in complex accounting tasks, including revenue recognition for IMAX systems and assisting in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings. You will also work closely with the Financial Reporting management team, ensuring accurate financial data and maintaining robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses

• Support the financial close process each quarter

• Conduct revenue recognition assessments in line with ASC 606

• Prepare detailed account reconciliations and variance analysis

• Aid in maintaining strong internal financial controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA certification or progress towards it

• 5-7 years experience in finance or public accounting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
