Senior Finance Analyst - Compliance Focus

Become a key player at Canada Packers as a Senior Finance Analyst, specializing in compliance and external reporting within a hybrid work model. Utilize your IFRS expertise for impactful financial disclosures.

This senior role reports directly to the Manager of External Reporting and focuses on the preparation and accuracy of financial statements as per IFRS. You will drive the completion of regulatory filings while collaborating with various stakeholders. Your contributions will enhance the effectiveness of financial reporting, making a difference in the organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate annual and quarterly financial statements

• Develop Management’s Discussion & Analysis documentation

• Lead intercompany eliminations and month-end closes

• Ensure timely completion of SEDAR+ filings

• Assist with external auditors during reviews and audits

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Business essential

• Active pursuit of CPA designation preferred

• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting for public companies

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS standards

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
