Position: Senior Risk Analyst for Aplos Pay
Become a Senior Payments Risk Analyst with Velora, focusing on Aplos Pay. Leverage your expertise in fraud analysis and monitoring to secure nonprofit transactions while working remotely.

In this role, you will take ownership of transaction monitoring and risk decision-making for Aplos Pay under Velora. You will work independently, utilizing AI to enhance detection rules and streamline workflows, making a significant impact in reducing fraud. Collaboration with Engineering leadership and Customer Success will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day transactions for Aplos Pay fraud

• Investigate suspicious activities to document outcomes

• Design and iterate detection rules for monitoring

• Build automation to manage payment volume effectively

• Collaborate with Customer Success on risk issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years of payments fraud/risk analysis experience

• Proven track record of ownership in fraud outcomes

• Familiarity with payment processors like Stripe

• Experience implementing AI in fraud workflows

• Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams
