Senior Canadian Tax Financial Analyst

Lead Canadian tax compliance as a Senior Financial Analyst with advanced Excel skills, managing direct and indirect filings for Rexall. This existing role reports to the Senior Director, Controller.

You will manage GST/HST, PST, QST, and other provincial tax filings across jurisdictions. The position also covers reconciliations, income tax provisions, statutory reporting, audits, environmental compliance, and pension accounting. Rexall seeks an accounting professional supporting accurate, timely tax operations.

• Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, annual indirect tax returns
• Reconcile and certify tax-related balance sheet accounts
• Manage provincial and federal tax audits
• Monitor legislative developments and assess business impacts
• Manage environmental compliance and pension accounting

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or business administration
• Completed or in-progress CPA designation preferred
• Strong GST/HST, PST, QST, Canadian income tax knowledge
• Experience managing government audits and inquiries
• Advanced Excel and excellent communication skills
