Shape financial strategy in Sudbury through cost modeling, operational evaluations, and standardized frameworks supporting Vale Ontario Operations.
As a Standard and Cost Model Specialist, you will lead financial models and frameworks across Ontario Operations. The permanent Finance position supports strategic planning, business performance, and continuous improvement. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and Business Planning teams to strengthen decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cost optimization and financial decision-making initiatives
- Develop and govern FPCR and ZBB models
- Standardize cost structures and financial processes
- Provide financial leadership for business cases and scenarios
- Lead cross-functional projects and evaluate financial impacts
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economy, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- ERP, database, and spreadsheet proficiency
- Finance and Operations experience
- Change management and continuous improvement capabilities
