Use advanced Excel and financial analysis skills as a Trade Spend Analyst with ACCO Brands in a hybrid Mississauga workplace.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, Decision Support, this analyst supports North America Finance. The work covers trade promotions, customer agreements, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting. Success requires accuracy, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration with Sales and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and validate promotions, discounts, rebates, and agreements
- Maintain trade spend systems and databases
- Reconcile accounts and investigate deduction discrepancies
- Prepare contracts and manage completion through all stages
- Support accruals, close documentation, and audit compliance
- Post-secondary accounting, business, or related credential
- One to three years in trade spend or financial analysis preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems
