Intermediate Cost Estimating Analyst

Build nuclear project economics through advanced Excel modelling and lifecycle costing as an Intermediate Cost Analyst at AtkinsRéalis in Canada. Support multidisciplinary decisions.

Reporting to the Cost Estimating Manager, you will develop models for new nuclear projects, proposals, strategic initiatives, and feasibility studies. Your work combines economic analysis, benchmarking, scenario evaluation, and project planning. You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, Commercial, Finance, and Marketing & Business Development stakeholders.

• Develop cost and economic models using project team inputs
• Perform LUEC and lifecycle cost analyses
• Document assumptions, calculations, methodologies, and supporting data
• Conduct sensitivity, scenario, uncertainty, and benchmarking analyses
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and management

• University degree in an analytical discipline
• Typically five to ten years of relevant experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and complex modelling experience
• Experience with financial, economic, or cost modelling
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
