Trauma-Informed EMDR​/DBR Therapist

Join Healing Roots Therapy as an EMDR or D  certified therapist providing dedicated trauma care. Deliver evidence-based therapy to support clients dealing with anxiety, PTSD, and grief.

As a compassionate and skilled EMDR/D  Therapist, you'll help adolescents and adults at Healing Roots Therapy. The role allows you to focus solely on high-quality client care, supported by a strong administrative team and structured clinic processes. Your therapeutic practice must align with the standards set by regulatory entities like the Ontario College of Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, and grief concerns

• Ensure compliance with college standards during therapy sessions

• Participate in a supportive team with clear operating systems

• Manage a caseload of around 15 clients weekly

• Provide services consistently across three days per week

Requirements:

• Certification in EMDR or D  essential

• Experience treating trauma and related mental health issues

• Flexible availability for evening, weekend, and daytime sessions

• Understanding of client-centered therapeutic approaches

• Commitment to continuous professional development
